IOF Trail Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinic 

This Trail Orienteering Event Advisers Clinic is organised for the education and recruitment of new IOF licensed Trail Orienteering Event Advisers. The clinic also serves as a refresher for current IOF Event Advisers. National orienteering federations are asked to identify and enter suitable candidates. 

There will be a new format for this clinic. It will be divided into two parts, one digital/virtual lecture and one field work part. Each part will be about 3h long. 

Organiser: IOF Trail Orienteering Commission and IOF Rules Commission, in collaboration with ETOC 2022. 

Date & time: Part 1: Sunday April 16th 2023, 16:00-19:00 CET 

Part 2: Saturday May 13th 2023, time not yet decided. 

Venue: Part 1: Internet on a meeting platform such as MS Teams. 

Part 2: Kisakallio.

Course Objectives: The main objective of this IOF Trail Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinic is to prepare participants to be licensed IOF Trail Orienteering Event Advisers. The clinic is also recommended for already licensed Event Advisers who wish to get the latest updates regarding the controlling of IOF major events.
